How do I book a stall?
Use the application link Apply Now, Once you’ve been approved to be a stallholder, you can email us to book in for future market days. Weekly stallholders will automatically be added each week.
When is the deadline for bookings?
All bookings need to be made by 3pm Thursday, email us if you want to book Friday – info@localvillagemarkets.com.au.
How long will it take for my application to be assessed?
Applications can take up to 3-4 business days before processing. We suggest to apply as far in advance as possible to ensure your space at the markets. If you wish to join us for a stall the following weekend after submitting your application, send through an email notifying us – info@localvillagemarkets.com.au.
Can I automatically get a stall at the market?
All applications are assessed prior to attendance, once your application has been submitted, we will get in touch to advise of your outcome. Every category at the markets are limited.
Do I need insurance?
All stalls must have $20 million Public Liability Insurance coverage. We can provide this insurance for $20 per market day if needed.
What do I need to bring for my stall at the Markets?
You will need to bring a marquee with weights or pegs, a table with a covering and setup items to make your stall look great, think signage and displays.
When will I know my stall allocation?
The site plan and allocation will be sent on Thursday afternoon prior to the Sunday market.
What is your wet weather policy?
The markets will go ahead rain or shine. Please bring your own covers and weights to hold down equipment and to protect against adverse weather conditions. Please see our Terms and Conditions for further details.
How do I cancel my booking?
For booking cancellations, please go to your stallholder portal, last minute cancellations can be emailed or texted through, please refer to the Terms and Conditions for the cancellation policy.
Can I get a refund if I cancel my booking?
If your cancellation is received by Monday prior to the Sunday market, we will credit your account towards your next market. Please see the Terms and Conditions for further information.
Can I drive my vehicle to my allocated stall space to set up?
Vehicle access is available onto the cement pedestrian pathway, due to the heritage park limitations of driving access, we provide a load-in schedule for vehicles requiring access, please email us if you would like access prior to your attendance.
Those without permitted vehicle access can use the Girrahween Street carpark or Henty Street car spaces to unload, depending on your site location. Your stall setup will need to be walked/trolleyed to your stall space.
Where should I park?
There is plenty of stallholder parking available within a few minutes walk from the market. Either side of Haig Park along Henty and Girrahween Streets have all day free parking. There are also small dirt carparks on these Streets in the park that can be used for larger vehicles.
Is there power available?
Yes! Haig Park has power available. The spaces are limited so please enquire to have power included in your stall space.
