The Spring Sustainability Market at Haig Park Village Markets

Haig Park Village Markets is thrilled to announce the return of the Spring Sustainability Market, taking place on Sunday 27 September. This special edition of the much loved markets will be bursting with workshops, activities, and stalls focused on conservation, waste reduction, sustainable living and more. From organic produce to slow fashion, recycling workshops and meeting native animals, it’s a celebration of all things sustainability. Marketgoers can expect a vibrant program of activities designed to inspire positive change and showcase the work of local environmental organisations. From seed propagation and recycling challenges to workshops and expert-led demonstrations, there’ll be something for all ages to enjoy and learn from.

At the Spring Sustainability Market, we are wanting to reduce the amount of waste, consistent with the theme of sustainability. We are encouraging eventgoers to Bring Your Own (BYO) cups and containers for their drinks and food purchased at the market. Don’t forget your reusable bags, or you can purchase a Haig Park market bag from the information stand!
