Brighten up your day with an Ikebana workshop at Haig Park Village Market this spring! Ikebana is the Japanese traditional art of floral arrangement.
Sachie Terasaki, a Canberra based Ikebana artist and instructor will guide you through all the steps to create a beautiful Ikebana arrangement under the pines of Haig Park Village Markets.
In this workshop you will learn how to arrange Ikebana in a traditional style and create your own arrangement in a small glass to take home.

At this fun and interactive workshop with the lovely Sue from One Pineapple Studio, you’ll be provided with a pre-made pipecleaner pet that you can dress up and decorate as you please. Let your imagination run wild with a huge variety of accessories.
Add colour, attach eyes and a nose to bring your pet to life, and choose from glasses, bows, puppy chains, tiny wings, little hats, and more to make it one-of-a-kind.

Suitable for: Ages 6+ (kids under 8 recommended with an adult)
